| Success In A Box |
|
Have your children ever misplaced notes they needed to study for a test, or insisted they handed homework in that the teacher says she never received? Perhaps their book-bags and lockers are overflowing with loose sheets of paper that may or may not be needed before the end of the term.
Here is the solution. Create a file box dedicated to each child’s schoolwork. Label sections by subject for class notes, returned assignments, and homework waiting to be graded. This is the perfect place to keep all the notes and assignments from completed units that they no longer need in class, but will need come exam time. Also, make a copy of homework prior to handing it in, marked with the date it was submitted. (Let’s face it, teachers often have organizing challenges too and have been known to misplace a paper or two.)
When the time comes to study for midterms or finals, everything is neatly filed in one place. Your student will easily be able to find any class notes and assignments covered in class without digging through piles in the bottom of their locker. It will save them a lot of time and frustration and, as their parent; it will give you the peace of mind of knowing they have all the materials they need to succeed.
