Organize Your Yard and Garden
Your yard creates a first impression of your home and is the only personal space that can be seen by anyone walking by. When planning or reorganizing your yard and garden, keep in mind how much time you'll have to spend maintaining this area. Keep it simple. Follow this list to get your summer off to a great start...

• Survey your yard. Gather up all trash. Toss: Rusty old tools, hammocks with holes, broken fencing, piles of leaves and brush, broken or badly weathered patio furnishings and decorations, broken garden toys, and broken or molding flower pots
• Hose down all window screens and wash windows
• Clean out all the gutters and the downspouts
• Pull weeds and fertilize your lawn
• Till your garden
• Put out a pretty new Welcome Mat
• Sweep porches and deck
• If you have a pool, check the chemical balance and make sure you are properly caring for it
• Schedule time for any large exterior projects you may have like planting a new flower bed, painting or replacing a deck or fencing. Make sure these
