| Vitamin V: Supply Storage |
|

|
Problem
In this rapidly growing office of Vitamin V and Tara Parker Tait PR, space for supplies is at a premium. The storage area was being used for general office supplies, stationary, books, press kits, event prizes, archived media material and personal items. The space needed to be utilized to its full potential so that the staff could find whatever they needed quickly and easily.

Solution
The first thing we did for our clients was to purchase a shredder so that they could easily dispose of old documents. Another filing cabinet was added to keep the two companies records separate. Everyday supplies were placed on designated shelves and the use of clear acrylic containers makes it easier to find things. All extra supplies and stationary were boxed and labeled for future use.
Rarely used items and press kits were placed on the top shelves and a new floor shelving unit was used to store personal items. The large clear drawer container replaced the oversized Rubbermaid bins which allow items to now be separated with the bonus that they now have a place to hold their purses and bags.
Cork, magnet and marker boards were hung on the back of both storage doors for quick and easy ways of keeping business cards and making supply lists. Now there are no excuses for running out of supplies.
