This storage unit from IKEA was bolted to the garage wall to ensure that the system stays dry when water runs off of the car in the winter. It is used for all of the household recycling. The bins are labeled and used for returnable items such as water bottles and pop cans. The tops of the units are used for the garbage recycling items like cardboard and tin cans. Above the unit is a system to hold all of the yard tools like rakes and brooms. The vacuum cleaner has been mounted on the wall for easy access when cleaning out the car or any mess made in the garage.

This simple shelving unit was built to hold all of the families outside items and extra storage for food and bulk items purchased from stores like Costco. Each member of the family has a cubby to keep items like soccer bags, jackets, shoes, umbrella’s, bike helmets and other miscellaneous items. This helps keep things organized and flowing which helps everyone get to where they are going on time.
